Our Fremantle Physiotherapists
Wendy Schulze - David Calderon
Wendy Schulze - Manipulative Physiotherapist and Kinesiologist - Wendy is a Manipulative Physiotherapist and Kinesiologist. A Manipulative Physiotherapists is a specialist diagnostic Physiotherapist. Wendy enjoys the intellectual stimulation of difficult chronic pain diagnosis, and enjoys going the distance with the person so that they make the changes to heal. Continuing education is our clinics focus so that we stay up-to-date. Therefore Wendy has completed courses in the McKenzie treatment techniques, Orthotics Prescription, Vertigo, Dry needle acupuncture, She has a special interest in the Physiotherapy treatment of Woman's health issues, and Chronic pain conditions, such as arthritis, osteoporosis and chronic spinal pain.
Wendy is also a Kinesiology Practitioner and Instructor. Kinesiology is a cross between Physiotherapy and Psychology so if you are stressed or feel that stress contributes to your pain or injury, Kinesiology maybe also required along with Physiotherapy to gain a healing that lasts.
David Calderon - Physiotherapist - David is a local Fremantle person who is also a linguist. He fluently speaks English, Italian and Spanish so is a real asset around Fremantle with our multi cultural mix. David is a mad keen Soccer player so has a special interest in the treatment of sporting injuries. He is the Physiotherapist for two Soccer clubs around Fremantle. Additionally David has trained in dry needle acupuncture and Biomechanics of the lower limb for orthotics prescription. He works with the Flinders Lane approach to neck and back pain that deals with all aspect of healing from treating the pain, sorting out the alignment and training strength, mobility and fitness again.
Appointment Charges
In Fremantle we take only 30 minute appointments with David Calderon it is $72.00 Private, $67.00 for Pensioners.
If you see Wendy Schulze who is a Manipulative Physiotherapist and Kinesiologist then it is $ 77.00 for the 30 minutes and $72 for pensioners.
PRIVATE CLIENTS AND ANCILLARY BENEFITS
Private Clients - Physiotherapists are primary health care providers so you do not need a Doctors referral to come and see us. You will be able to claim your Ancillary Benefits directly with us using our HICAPS so you will only need to pay the gap at each consultation. The gap you have to pay varies depending upon your insurance company and the table you are on. Some funds rebate the whole of the consultation others pay about a third of the cost
WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE
Workers Compensation - you will need a referral from your GP and a claim number for us to bill your Workers Compensation Insurance company directly. If you miss an appointment then you personally will be charged in full as the Physiotherapist has reserved that time for you. 24 hours notice is required to cancel an appointment.
If your claim is accepted this is billed directly to the insurance with no additional charge to you.
MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT INSURANCE
Motor Vehicle Accidents - you will need a referral from your GP and a claim number for us to bill the Motor Vehicle Insurance Trust directly. If you miss an appointment then you will be charged in full as the Physiotherapist has reserved that time for you. 24 hours notice is required to cancel an appointment.
If your claim is accepted it is billed directly to the insurance with no additional charge to you.
DVA INSURANCE
Department of Veterans Affairs - you will need a referral from your GP. The referral is valid for 12 months.

MEDICARE CONSULTATIONS
Medicare MCP plan - if you have pain for more than 3 months you are entitledto 5 Allied Health consultations a year under the ECP scheme. You will need a referral from your GP that includes a Care Plan. This takes a long consultation with your GP. There is a small gap between our charge and the Medicare rebate.

David Calderon $67.00 for a 30 minute consultation
ACUPUNCTURE
If your consultation includes acupuncture the costs are $2.00 more per consultation to cover equipment and training.
ARRIVING ON TIME
We do our best to be on time so if you arrive late we still finish on time. If we are running late you will get the full time with us, however if we are able we will ring you on your mobile to let you know before you arrive.
MISSED APPOINTMENTS
If you miss an appointment then you will be charged in full as the Physiotherapist has reserved that time for you. 24 hours notice is required to cancel an appointment.
