Pilates is very effective for improving body tone and shape.
Clinical Pilates is especially developed to help people regain their strength and shape following an injury or after Pregnancy.
It works by forcing you to improve the stability and balance in your body so that your posture is improved. Good posture results in better function particularly following an injury where core stability is affected.
If you have had chronic pain Pilates is very effective because people with chronic pain have lost the normal muscle and stability activation.
If you have chronic pain, whiplash, a disc bulge, chronic shoulder pain or simply want to get back into shape safely then Pilates is the way to go.
